On playing well

Play you can
put down easily

Because nothing here involves money, the usual pressures of a betting product simply are not present. Even so, attention is precious. This page sets out how we design for time, ease and adult judgement.

Written for adults · not medical advice

Four things we hold to

Adults, by design

Everything is made for people aged 18 and over. We ask you to confirm your age before you enter, and we keep the tone unmistakably grown-up rather than aimed at anyone younger.

No money, no exceptions

Play uses virtual credits with no monetary value. You cannot deposit, you cannot withdraw, and there are no cash prizes. Removing money removes the sharpest edge a pastime can have.

Time, kept visible

A quiet session clock is part of the experience, not buried in a menu. Knowing how long you've been here is the simplest tool for deciding when to stop.

Easy to leave

No streaks to protect, no daily obligation, no reward for staying longer. We would rather earn a short, fond visit than hold you with mechanics designed to keep you.

A few honest habits

  • Decide roughly how long you'd like to stay before you begin.
  • Treat this as one small part of a day, not the shape of it.
  • If a session stops feeling like a break, that's your cue to close it.
  • Keep play separate from sleep, work and anyone who depends on you.

Worth noticing

When a pastime stops being one

These are gentle prompts, not a diagnosis. If any of them feel familiar — here or anywhere else — it may be worth stepping back and talking to someone.

Australian support, if you ever want it
